The candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts; a valid driver’s license is essential. The Senior Area Innovation Manager (AIM) is a field-based Medtronic Endoscopy (GI) sales position focused on protecting and expanding the utilization of Medtronic AI platforms, primarily the GI Genius, through market development and sales activities. The AIM will call on MSO/IDN headquarters, hospitals, ambulatory surgical centers, physician offices, and will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance strategic initiatives. The role requires cross-functional leadership, knowledge transfer to accelerate technology adoption, and the ability to develop solutions at the account level with high-level guidance. This role covers a large geography including Southern California up to San Luis Obispo (ideal location LA or Orange County) and also covers HI. Position Responsibilities

BUSINESS EXCELLENCE Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas by driving product adoption through the delivery of clinical and economic value of Medtronic AI platforms Demonstrate expertise in AI trends and market positioning of GI Genius, including macroeconomic factors influencing AI in healthcare Understand the current and future AI competitive landscape and position Medtronic AI platforms as the market leader Target, convert, and install new GI Genius accounts at enterprise level MSO/IDN headquarters, hospitals, and ASC facilities Define direction for new products, processes, standards, or operational plans with significant impact on work group results and integrate GI portfolio into GI Genius sales processes Represents organization as a primary contact for projects and initiatives; identify and leverage internal and external customers and vendors; negotiate and influence decision-making Develop the sales and clinical organization in the geographic territory by sharing GI Genius product expertise, achieving focused product quotas Develop solutions to complex problems and improve processes, systems, or products to enhance performance Provide solution-oriented strategies to facilitate product adoption and accelerate sales growth Establish relationships with healthcare executives, physicians, and KOLs in the territory Interact with physicians, hospital executives and service line administrators to close sales and drive ongoing utilization of our solution-based software technology as cleared by the U.S. FDA Deliver a thorough understanding of healthcare economics and communicate value proposition of Medtronic AI platforms Initiate and lead engagements with internal cross-functional leaders to accelerate and close the sales process Significant travel required – 75% Clinical Excellence

Understand and communicate the clinical value of Medtronic AI platforms, including published evidence, disease pathways, and algorithm development Provide clinical product demonstrations and education to increase customer understanding and proficiency Demonstrate disease state expertise for all product areas Articulate clinical and journal articles relevant to disease states and Medtronic positioning Administrative Excellence

Comprehensive knowledge of CRM usage and capability to present pipeline and forecasts Complete administrative responsibilities, such as expense and sales reports Complete online training within assigned timelines Adhere to Medtronic code of conduct Must Have: Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 8+ years of relevant experience OR Associate’s Degree AND 6+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 4+ years of relevant experience Nice to Have

Enterprise-level technical sales with life sciences, healthcare, or software (SaaS, PaaS, SaMD) background Proven sales success with quarterly and yearly quotas (e.g., President's Club or consistent top performer rankings) Demonstrated clinical, technical, and business excellence with GI Genius Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in O365 and Salesforce.com Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across functions Demonstrated business planning and forecasting excellence Medical device/equipment sales experience Experience selling to physicians in procedural settings Degree with emphasis in Life Sciences, Medicine, or related technical field Ability to multi-task and work independently Physical and Other Details

Salary ranges for U.S. locations (USD): base salary around 129,500; the offered rate depends on experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location.
