Responsibilities
Responsible for timely review and corrections to entries that are submitted to US Customs/Government Agencies for entry of goods, ensuring all customer and regulatory requirements are met.
Provide impeccable customer service.
Support other workgroups such as entry processing and cage functions.
Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from database, SOPs, tariff book, internet or customs.
Solicit and maintain all customs compliance documentation with customers.
Handle confidential and/or sensitive information.
Work closely with other internal staff, departments and customers to deliver a high level of service.
Review customs entries for accuracy and re‑process with corrections if required, covering customs, agency and customer requirements.
Review and correct ABI errors and census warnings.
Ensure all government and organizational policies are followed.
Create a referral to document corrections, ensuring education and compliance to reduce future errors.
Perform other or additional duties as assigned. Paid training provided.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
3 years of business or customer service experience (preferred).
Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, and office equipment (phone, fax, photocopier, printer, scanner).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to handle a high volume of work and time‑sensitive tasks.
Work independently with minimal supervision; detail oriented; able to work on a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Location: On‑Site in Memphis, TN.
Shift: Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 4:00 pm.
Pay & Benefits Total base pay range: $13.60 – $21.57 USD per hour.
