MRO Procurement Specialist
Position Summary
The MRO Procurement Specialist at Foxconn Industrial Internet (Fii) will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing all maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) supplies, tools, spare parts, and consumables required to support our high-volume manufacturing and facility operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring production uptime and efficiency while optimizing costs and maintaining compliance with Fii’s global procurement standards.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with qualified MRO suppliers who can meet Fii’s quality, delivery, and cost requirements
Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure competitive agreements while adhering to company policies
Collaborate cross-functionally with facility, engineering, operations, and finance to anticipate demand and align procurement strategy
Develop data-driven reports using excel to support strategic decision-making by leadership
Maintain historical cost database to support accurate budgeting and benchmarking
Facilitate preparation and administration of RFx activities by gathering scope, requirements, and cost data from project teams
Coordinate supplier performance reviews, resolve delivery or quality issues, and maintain accurate supplier records
Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal controls, safety, and regulatory standards
Generate regular reports on MRO spend, supplier performance, savings, and risk mitigation strategies
Support Fii’s continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for cost reduction, process streamlining, and supplier consolidation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Minimum 3 years of procurement experience, preferably in MRO or manufacture environments
Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management skills
Experience working with SAP systems in a high-volume manufacturing context
Experience coordinating and supporting RFx processes, including drafting documentation, managing stakeholder input, and tracking vendor submissions
Solid knowledge of MRO categories, supply market trends, and industrial maintenance requirements
Demonstrate a proactive, problem-solving mindset in a fast-paced, cross-cultural team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and global teams
Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and capability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with lean manufacturing, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), or other continuous improvement methodologies
Professional certifications such as CPM, CPSM, CSCP, or equivalent
Knowledge of relevant safety, environmental, and compliance regulations affecting MRO items
