Position Purpose Responsible for coordinating and supervising maintenance tasks performed on facilities and equipment. Performs complex building repairs using various technical skills (e.g., carpentry, electrical, and plumbing). Maintains production equipment in a manner that meets organization standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime. Establishes and maintains preventive maintenance programs and procedures. Oversees mechanics/technicians who repair and maintain equipment. Maintains inventory of operational supplies. Conducts weekly and monthly building inspections for needed repairs and safety hazards. Maintains compliance with health and safety regulations. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performs any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Position Responsibilities
Supervises associates to include, but not limited to: staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
Oversees and maintains warehouse by, but not limited to: repairing concrete floors, roll‑up dock doors, and racks; replacing lights and light fixtures; replacing plumbing and fixtures; and installing, repairing and texturing drywall. Services air conditioning units. Remodels and decorates rooms as needed; paints large and small areas.
Coordinates outside building contractors.
Keeps accurate records/files of work orders for preventative maintenance and monitors ammonia cooling systems.
Repairs in‑house vending machines, as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
Required Experience: 4‑6 Years.
Two or more years of experience in each of the trades (i.e., carpentry, electrical and plumbing), five or more years of experience working on commercial heating and air conditioning units and refrigeration systems.
Team lead or supervisory experience.
