Purpose and Scope The PT Coordinator II, Theater coordinates logistics, services, and support concerning the Theatre during Theatre productions. Includes coordinating support functions and house activities to ensure smooth operations.

Essential Job Functions

Oversees the theatre and recital hall front-of-house operations, including greeters, ushers and theatre technicians.

Manages and handles cash for the box office.

Handles inquiries and complaints from patrons.

Serves as liaison between the department and external rentals.

Ensures proper use of the facilities and compliance of all usage rules.

Assists visitors, faculty and staff as needed.

Assists in preparation of estimates for rentals.

Processes rental contracts including verifying payment, insurance and signed contracts.

Provides information and handles matters within the scope of knowledge and responsibility.

Assists with office duties; updating database, filing paperwork.

Responsible for other reasonable, related duties as assigned.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Demonstrated computer literacy with common office software, including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, and databases.

Physical Abilities The work is sedentary. Typically, the employee sits comfortably to do the work. However, there may be some walking; standing; bending; carrying of light items, such as papers, books, or small parts; or driving an automobile. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

Work Schedule and Conditions

Equipment used includes PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment.

Internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position.

Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or GED and at least 5 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Hourly Pay Rate is $19.69
