Market Development Representative – Indianapolis Join Sazerac Company as a key partner to on‑premise restaurants, bars and off‑premise grocery, convenience and liquor stores to achieve volume and distribution sales goals across our award‑winning spirits portfolio.

Overview Sazerac Company has a nearly 400‑year legacy of producing and marketing the world’s most award‑winning bourbons and whiskeys, including Buffalo Trace, Pappy Van Winkle, Eagle Rare and Blanton’s, as well as a portfolio of leading spirit brands such as Fireball, Seagram’s, Parrot Bay and Platinum Vodka.

Responsibilities

Craft and manage innovative solutions to boost business for assigned accounts, ensuring Sazerac brands soar in market share.

Use consumer and category trends to educate customers, solve challenges and skyrocket sales – building brands is an art.

Lead distributors with in‑store selling, marketing and account execution.

Help achieve volume objectives for core brands in our diverse portfolio.

Implement and execute programs that deliver on distribution, merchandising, display and retail promotional goals.

Develop mutually valuable rapport with assigned customers by understanding their needs and requirements.

Lead communication between key customers, wholesalers, and internal teams.

Track established key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure consistent goal achievement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum 1 year of professional field sales experience in the alcohol‑beverage or consumer packaged goods industries; new college graduates require a sales/marketing internship or full/part‑time sales role.

Proven volume achievements and ability to deliver on distribution and retail promotional goals.

Demonstrated success using sales data analytics and tools to drive results and identify market trends.

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within an assigned territory.

Flexibility to work non‑traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Live in or near the territory.

Ability to personally cover ordinary and essential business expenses that will be promptly reimbursed.

Required to obtain a solicitor’s permit in any state.

Physical Requirements

Standing for an extended period of time.

Ability to pick up and/or move objects up to 35 lb without assistance.

Ascend or descend stairs.

Ability to drive and visit multiple accounts in one day.

Strong communication skills.

Salary : USD $56,000.00 – $80,000.00 Per Year (base salary only).
