Overview We are seeking an
OR Circulating Registered Nurse
(RN). You will be part of a close-knit, highly collaborative operating room team assisting with Orthopedics, Podiatry, Gastroenterology, and General Surgeries. The OR Circulating RN is an essential member of the perioperative team, advocating for patients under anesthesia and/or sedation and managing inventory of supplies and equipment used during and after the surgical procedure.

Responsibilities
Prepare the operating room, ensure cleanliness, and confirm that all equipment is functioning properly
Assist in preparing the patient for surgery, including verifying identity and surgical site, positioning patient, and ensuring all pre‑operative procedures are completed
Document pertinent information before, during, and after the procedure, such as vital signs, medications administered, and other relevant details
Maintain a safe and sterile environment by adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring all team members follow proper instrument handling procedures
Qualifications
Current and valid state RN license
Current BLS (AHA) certificate at hire and maintained
Current ACLS (AHA) certificate within 30 days at hire and maintained
Current PALS (AHA) certificate within 30 days at hire and maintained
Minimum of one year prior perioperative experience
Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus
Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) Certification (AORN)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
