Easterseals PORT Health . We’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated part‑time therapist to work in Wake and/or Dillon Detention centers to serve juveniles in a detention setting.

Job Details

Position: Outpatient Therapist / Juvenile Detention

Employment type: Part‑time

Location: Wake and/or Dillon Detention centers (in person)

Hours: A few hours a day, flexible, preferred time 10 a.m.– 6 p.m., Monday–Sunday

Salary: $50–60 per hour (competitive for part‑time)

Your Role in Our Mission As an

Outpatient Therapist

you will provide services designed to meet clinically significant behavioral or psychological symptoms, through scheduled therapeutic treatment sessions with individuals, families, or groups. You will use a Strength‑based Approach to develop Person‑Centered Plans that address identified treatment needs.

Responsibilities

Conduct therapeutic sessions with juveniles in detention centers.

Develop and implement Person‑Centered Plans (PCPs).

Diffuse crisis situations and link clients to community resources.

Rotate phone coverage as needed.

Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Qualifications

Full or provisional licensure: LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT (dual licensure preferred).

Prior mental health and/or substance use experience preferred.

Ability to work flexible hours and provide care in various community settings.

Excellent crisis de‑escalation skills.
