Ultrasound Technologist – US Tech RAD - Travel
We are looking for an Ultrasound Technologist (US Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Union Gap, WA. The position requires at least 1 year of experience.
Responsibilities
Educate patients and/or their family regarding procedures performed
Use sonographic equipment to identify and observe the area(s) of concern
Prepare the exam room for examinations and assist Radiologists with ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-guided biopsies
Report any abnormalities that require immediate attention to the appropriate medical staff
Maintain sonography equipment and report machinery failure
Conduct scan tests and write reports based on the results
Maintain accurate patient records
Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience
BLS, ARDMS National Certification, and state-specific licensing when required
Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology
Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
