Job Description
Moves, positions, and manipulates radiographic equipment to complete requested procedures safely.
Performs direct patient care duties within the technologist's scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition, transporting patient, and using proper infection control techniques.
Ensures exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use, and that all equipment undergoes routine cleaning and safety checks.
Notifies appropriate personnel when inventory is low.
Ability to follow basic radiation safety concepts of time, distance and shielding to keep exposure levels ALARA for patient and staff.
Qualification Requirements Bachelor's, High School Graduate or Equivalent (Required)
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS)
Licensed Radiology Technologist qualifications from recognized boards and accrediting bodies: RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, DSPS-LIC, KBMIRT, L.R.T., IEMA (MRT-IEMA), MRT, ARRT, CRT.
Pay Range $23.71 - $44.09
