Pay & Compensation Base pay: $72,800.00 – $83,200.00 per year.
Sign‑on bonus: $3,500.
Full‑time, hourly rate $40.00 – $45.00.
Key Responsibilities
Actively engage in the health care team, offering both direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians.
Assess the physical and psychological conditions of patients continuously throughout their care journey.
Utilize the nursing process in alignment with the philosophy, objectives, values, mission, and core principles of the organization.
Uphold a safe therapeutic environment grounded in core values.
Collaborate as an integral member of the multidisciplinary treatment team, actively contributing to the development, implementation, and documentation of tailored goals and interventions based on patient strengths and psychiatric challenges.
Provide supervision to staff assigned to your shift.
Contribute to the hospital's philosophy, objectives, educational and performance improvement efforts.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a psychiatric health‑care facility.
Currently licensed to practice by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
Thorough knowledge of The Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA requirements, and state and federal regulatory requirements.
CPR certification and successful completion of CPI within 90 days of employment.
