JOB SUMMARY
The Finance Manager Retail Operations will be the key Business Partner to various stakeholders within the company, responsible for preparing financial analyses, maintaining current financial reports, and providing context and insight around the data. Develop methodologies to determine the effectiveness of initiatives on Retail Stores and Expenses with a focus on Retail profitability. Analyze and report on historical, current and future trends in performance. Automate and prepare reports for executive review.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Business partner to Retail and Boutique Care teams
Budget and Forecasting of Retail Sales and Expenses
Lead Payroll and Monthly Goal process for Retail
Automated Tableau Reporting and controls
Expense control, reporting, and analysis
Financial guidance with focus on Investment Optimization and maximizing ROIs of Retail Stores
Identify Risks and Opportunities within the business and provide Actionable analysis
Go to for Reporting and Analysis development on Financial Reporting tools
Participate in monthly accounting close process
Liaise with Accounting and provide accruals of incurred expenses not yet invoiced per Accounting rules
Review monthly and YTD P&Ls and address variances to Budget/Forecast and LY with an extensive GL research for accuracy
Generate reporting and hold month end meetings with key stakeholders to review results and address variances
Financial Controls for Purchase Requisition process
Approve Purchase Requisitions for relevant departments and thresholds and ensure accuracy vs. Budget/Forecast
Provide guidance on Expense coding and amount allocation as it relates to Accounting Rules
Generate Reporting and partner with stakeholders to address areas of risk and opportunities
Lead the annual P&L Budget and quarterly Forecast Preparation/Development for key areas
Participate in the Monthly Business Review report package
Automate and create and distribute daily, weekly and monthly reports to various levels of management via Tableau and other tools
Analyzing business results for key takeaways to help achieve business objectives, build consensus across various teams to expedite cost control initiatives and build understanding
Manage and deliver all ad hoc analyses
Work effectively in a team environment, including participation in Agile team projects
All other duties or projects as assigned
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

EDUCATION
BS in Finance, Accounting, or other quantitative field
EXPERIENCE
8 - 10 years of experience in Financial or Analytical role
SKILLS
Retail/Wholesale experience
Proficient in Excel, Power Point and Other MS applications
Tableau Reporting
SAP or other comparable ERP system exposure
PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Normal office conditions, Hybrid schedule
The compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 - $100,000 (based on skills, experience and with differentials applied if outside of NYC)
