Day to Day:
Measure self-performance tickets, daily and weekly reports, checking for accuracy/knowing the scope, tracking how many people are working, crews, quantities installed, checking documentation for proof
Validating invoices that they are getting from contractors
Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
Main role would be to validate installed quantities from subcontractors and internal teams, support on invoice validation
Proficient in Excel and documentation responsibilities
Must Haves:
2+ years of experience within the construction/industrial space ( Mechanical Focus )
Read and understand P&ID’s, E&I drawings, loop drawings
Understand requirements for lump sum, unit rate, and T&M
Read and comprehend scopes of work and specifications
Experience in reporting, photos, writing summaries
Ability to communicate heavily with contractors
Understand progress reporting
Excel proficiency
Plusses:
Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar
