Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
Analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and profitability reports.
Perform detailed variance analysis, investigating differences between actual and standard costs.
Manage inventory valuation, including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
Support the annual budget process by providing cost data and analysis.
Contribute to cost reduction initiatives and process improvement projects.
Prepare regular cost reports for management to aid decision‐making.
Recommended Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
3+ years of progressive cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Deep understanding of cost accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills with attention to detail.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with major ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) in a manufacturing environment.
Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) or advanced Excel modeling.
