Job Description A Day inthe Life
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) will provide evaluation and treatment services to patients. These services will include interventions within the SLP scope of practice, as outlined by ASHA, in a variety of settings and levels of care.
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you willprovide evaluation and treatment services to patients. You will accurately administerappropriate diagnostic evaluation tools based on the diagnosis and age of each patient.
Along with providing quality treatment to our patients, you will keep medical records up to date, complete and in accordance with department and hospital guidelines for patients served.
You will be part of a great team! You will work collaborativelywithin the Interdisciplinary team and participate in department and interdepartmental efforts to improve processes and clinical treatments.
Qualifications What’s Required
CertificationofClinical Competence in Speech/Language Pathology
State of MichiganSpeech/Language Pathology Licensure
