Base pay range Mechanical Resource Group , an HVAC, hydronics, sales, and service organization, is seeking a
BMS Controls Technician.
The Maintenance Technician role is responsible for troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning BMS and HVAC systems.

Responsibilities
Troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning BMS and HVAC systems.
Program and commission BMS systems to meet project requirements and customer specifications.
Installing VAV, Unitary, and custom control sequences in accordance with company standards.
Start-up and commissioning of complete building automation systems.
Perform a point to point checkout of per standard procedures.
Properly addressing both TCP/IP networks and RS‑485 communications.
Diagnose communication and performance issues with BACnet protocol.
Maintain system documentation, including programming files, drawings, and sequences of operation.
Additional duties as required.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in HVAC controls and building automation systems.
Proficiency in Niagara N4 platform and graphical programming.
Extensive experience with at least one major building automation system: Johnson, Trane, or Distech.
Strong controls troubleshooting skills.
Knowledge of multiple HVAC control protocols (BACnet, LonTalk, Modbus, Niagara).
Deep operational understanding of commercial HVAC equipment, AHU’s VAVs, boilers, chillers, etc.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
Leadership abilities to guide a team and collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders.
