Join our dynamic team in Anderson, Indiana, where we manufacture engine and chassis components for the heavy trucking industry. We are experiencing significant growth and are seeking an experienced CNC Manufacturing Engineer to support our expansion efforts. Our facility specializes in producing metal components and sub-assemblies using advanced machining, assembly, and casting processes.
Responsibilities
Work hands‑on on the floor with projects and programs from new business (40%).
Troubleshoot machine issues and implement process improvements to maintain uninterrupted production (30%).
Engage in desk work, programming, and drawing using MasterCam and Solidworks (30%).
Participate in daily huddles with the engineering team to coordinate efforts.
Develop new customer parts from concept to completion, including tooling definition and machine programming.
Make plant layout adjustments and move equipment as needed to accommodate new projects.
Occasionally travel for up to a week to our Pennsylvania plant.
Essential Skills
7+ years of experience with metal machining in a production environment.
Proficiency in CNC Programming, with a strong preference for MasterCam.
Ability to fully set up CNC machines, with a focus on Mills (75%) and Lathes (25%).
Experience in conducting root‑cause analysis for process improvements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Associates or Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline is preferred.
Work Environment Work a regular shift from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as project deadlines approach. Enjoy a temperature‑controlled CNC shop environment with room for expansion. Work in a collaborative office setting when not on the production floor. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $43.00‑$52.88 per hour.
