Base Pay Range $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr

Responsibilities

Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.

Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience, including interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied).

Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers.

Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash and distribute change as requested; process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.

Recommend items for sale to customer and trade-up/companion items; assist with OTC products and escort customers to the aisle when possible.

Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status.

Report prescription errors immediately to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to company policies and procedures related to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program.

Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by the store manager or shift leader.

Implement company asset‑protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.

Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products).

Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super‑structure, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions as directed.

Have working knowledge of store systems and store equipment.

Assist with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.

Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.

Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

Training & Personal Development Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or assigned by corporate.

Basic Qualifications

Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.

Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
