Responsibilities
Project Management:
Lead EMR implementation and upgrade projects from initiation to completion.
Project Management:
Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
Project Management:
Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed to meet objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and IT teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and leadership.
System Implementation & Optimization:
Oversee system configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
System Implementation & Optimization:
Ensure EMR systems meet regulatory, security, and interoperability standards.
System Implementation & Optimization:
Identify opportunities for workflow improvements and system enhancements.
Vendor Management:
Coordinate with EMR vendors and third-party consultants.
Vendor Management:
Manage contracts, service level agreements, and vendor performance.
Risk & Change Management:
Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Risk & Change Management:
Manage change control processes and ensure documentation is up to date.
Experience Requirements
7–10 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 2 years in EMR systems or Healthcare IT environments.
International experience – primarily responsible for UK/Europe environments.
Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and compliance requirements (HIPAA, HITECH).
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Jira.
Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required.
