Base pay range $116.00/hr - $116.00/hr
Position Summary To be discussed at interview.
Responsibilities Independently diagnoses, treats, prescribes, and provides general medical care and treatment services to incarcerated individuals, provides clinical supervision and guidance to lower level clinical physicians and other medical providers, and may manage and supervise medical services for an assigned facility, unit, or program.
Qualifications
Promotion: one year of service as a Clinical Physician 1, possession of a license and current registration to practice medicine in New York State.
Open Competitive: possession of a license and current registration to practice medicine in New York State and two years of post‑licensure medical experience.
Note: Post graduate training that is required to obtain full licensure would not be counted towards post licensure medical experience.
