Nurse Technician - Behavioral Psychology

The Nurse Technician is currently enrolled in good standing in a Washington State‑approved registered nursing program, having completed at least one academic term that includes a clinical component. Functions under the direct supervision of a registered nurse and within the scope of practice defined by the Washington Administrative Code (WAC). Responsible for providing direct patient care, applying current health concepts, and assisting with routine or general clinical responsibilities that may contribute directly or indirectly to patient care. May work up to the documented level of academic competence achieved in the individual's education program.
Required Qualifications
Coursework/Training: Current enrollment in a Washington State approved registered nursing program, with satisfactory completion of at least one academic term that includes a clinical component. Transcripts and nursing school skill checklist must be submitted to the hospital upon hire and updated regularly.
Upon hire: Washington Nursing Technician Registration
Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association
