Perform laboratory tasks related to Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), including but not limited to: Library preparation Sequencer operation Perform laboratory tasks related to genotyping workflows, including: Sample spotting and preparation PCR amplification and optimization Fluorescence-based detection and analysis Carry out routine laboratory activities such as setup and maintenance of equipment, preparation of testing solutions, and daily cleaning and housekeeping activities. Monitoring reagent and consumable stock levels Timely restocking and procurement to avoid disruptions Accurate tracking of stock movements, including in-stock and out-stock documentation Perform DNA extraction from various sample types with high accuracy. Prepare libraries for sequencing, including quality control and quantification. Conduct hybridization and enrichment procedures as required. Operate sequencing platforms (e.g., Illumina, BGI) and ensure data quality control. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, or a related field. Preferred hands-on experience with NGS workflows, including library preparation and sequencing. Preferred familiarity with genotyping techniques such as PCR and fluorescence detection. Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate and convey technical information. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, including inventory management. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
