LIBERTY SENIOR LIVING is currently seeking an experienced Health Center Server. Overview
Health Center Server responsible for guest services and meal delivery in Liberty Senior Living facilities, ensuring patient dietary requirements, allergies, and preferences are adhered to, while delivering quality service to residents and guests. Responsibilities
Manage tray tickets and assemble meals according to each patient's menu selection in a timely and accurate manner. Deliver and retrieve room service trays from residents’ rooms at assigned times. Deliver room service trays to resident rooms and dining rooms. Help residents understand their menu selections while ensuring their selections comply with their nutritional requirements or restrictions. Ensure proper set up of dining tables with utensils, chinaware, and glassware. Refill sugar, salt, pepper, and butter dishes for all tables. Assist with meal service to residents and guests. Maintain accurate meal documentation ensuring the correct diet order, allergies, and preferences are adhered to. Clean and reset all tables after each meal service, and sweep floors as necessary. Stock beverage machines; make coffee, juice, etc. Work with Dietary Manager and Nursing team members to determine menu alternatives for patients with food allergies and sensitivities. Maintain a strong teamwork approach that contributes to high morale and productivity. Effectively communicate with all employees. May assist with the setup of internal and external parties, including seasonal, holiday, and special events. Performs hands-on, verbal, and written communication delivering quality meal service. Participate in all training offered by the employer. The Health Center Server follows and abides by the HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) privacy guidelines as administered by Liberty Senior Living. Qualifications
A minimum of one year of experience working within a food service operation required, preferably in a healthcare environment. Completion of a state-approved food safety course is strongly preferred. Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately. Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude towards the elderly. Able to work well as part of a team with a variety of staff and residents with differing values, attitudes, capabilities, and dispositions. Able to work effectively as an individual as well as part of the dining services team and facility-wide team. Employment details
