Job Title 6x6 Off‑Road Truck Operator
Job Summary The 6x6 Off‑Road Truck Operator operates or tends machinery equipped with scoops, shovels, or buckets, to excavate and load loose materials. Operates construction equipment, such as cranes, power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench‑digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors, and pneumatic tools.
Duties and Responsibilities
Operate a 6x6 off‑road truck for construction purposes
Transport materials and equipment to and from construction sites
Operate the truck on rough terrain
Maintain the truck in good working condition
Perform routine maintenance on the truck, such as oil changes and tire rotations
Report any mechanical issues to the supervisor
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
Qualifications and Skills
Experience operating a 6x6 off‑road truck
Valid driver's license
Experience in construction
Ability to operate the truck on rough terrain
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to follow instructions and procedures
