We invite you to apply for the Field Service Technician position. This role focuses on the effective repair and service of equipment and attachments, ensuring high quality and safety standards while working independently.
Responsibilities
Champion safety: ensure all work is completed safely.
Perform routine maintenance, safety inspections, and create deficiency repair lists.
Plan methods and sequence of maintenance tasks.
Research and order all parts and materials required for maintenance.
Carry out repairs efficiently and effectively, confirming completion.
Return unused parts and materials per established methods.
Maintain a safe and clean workspace and service truck.
Power wash and clean equipment and attachments as needed.
Maintain legible records of notes, time, parts, supplies, and outside purchases.
Follow all record‑keeping methods and the 3 C's (complaint, cause, correction) for all repairs.
Comply with all company policies, procedures, and methods.
Maintain and care for all shop and truck tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Provide exceptional customer service to all customers.
Communicate professionally and honestly with co‑workers and customers.
Advocate for Company Wrench and our equipment brand consistently.
Complete assigned training, both virtually and in‑person; overnight travel may be required.
Education and Experience
Candidate needs two years of industry experience.
Required Requisites
Class A or B CDL (or ability to obtain one).
Strong mechanical skills and aptitude.
Strong diagnostic abilities and mindset.
Good communication skills.
Safe work habits.
Ability to perform repairs on all major equipment systems.
Working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions.
Ability to provide all tooling smaller than one‑inch drive.
Specific Skill Requisites
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Proficient understanding of hydraulic pressure and flow.
Proficient in Ohm's law.
Proficient in using a digital multimeter.
Physical Requirements
Regular standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing.
Frequent lifting and/or moving of items over 50 pounds.
Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
