The University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) has a 50-year history at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. The UCEDD at OHSU works to improve the health and quality of life of Oregonians with disabilities through education, community service, research and information sharing. Function/Duties of Position

We are recruiting for a part-time community Research Liaison / Project Interviewer. The purpose of this position is to fulfill sub-contracts for quality assurance and research related projects by scheduling and interviewing study participants and entering survey responses into an online data repository per study protocols. The Community Research Liaison will work with study coordinators on data management and provide feedback on research-related projects. Required Qualifications

Bachelor's in relevant field OR

Associates

AND

3 years of relevant experience with individuals with disabilities

OR

4 years of relevant experience with individuals with disabilities

OR

Equivalent combination of training and experience with individuals with disabilities. Excellent interpersonal skills Ability to meet time sensitive deadlines with paperwork Phone, access to wireless internet, access to email account to set up, conduct and transfer data from interviews as well as required work-related forms (such as timecard and mileage) Ability to arrange and conduct interviews online or in the interviewee’s home or community setting per the interviewee’s preference in a potentially noisy environment Ability to keep organized records of schedules/interviews/other activities for weekly reports Sitting - Ability to sit for up to 1 to 1.5 hours for interview session. May take breaks as requested by interviewee. Location for telework - Have private area to conduct confidential interviews. Computer/Internet - Have own computer with webcam and highspeed internet. Software - Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and PDF format to fill out required tracking forms using touch pad and keystrokes

Ability to enter data into a secure database

Hardware - Ability to use (or be trained to successfully use) iPhone and computer to conduct interviews and transfer data using touchpad and keystrokes Driving - Candidate must have reliable transportation and ability to drive to interview sites, a valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance if you will be using your own vehicle to get to interview sites. Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with people with disabilities or have a family member with a disability High level of technical skill around data handling and interviewing. Additional Details
