Leasing Consultant Role The Leasing Consultant is responsible for all aspects of leasing, marketing, and maintaining positive resident relations at a property.
Responsibilities
Experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD Section 8, Section 236, PRAC, 811 PRA, USDA Rural Development 515, HCD, HOME Funds, and Bonds) is preferred.
Property leasing and administration: gather leads, conduct tours, qualify prospects, sign leases, and complete all leasing paperwork before move‑in.
Maintain accurate prospect traffic and leasing data, responding to leads within 24 hours.
Assist with lease audits, walking units, and the turn‑in process.
Execute marketing and outreach activities, including annual marketing plan implementation and market survey analysis.
Provide excellent customer service, respond to resident requests, enforce community policies, and promote a favorable image of the community.
Maintain the general upkeep and cleaning of the office, common areas, and model units.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Basic computer skills and ability to use on‑site software functions.
Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.
Physical Requirements
Regular movement around the worksite, including walking, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
Ability to use ladders, stairs, scaffolding, and move objects up to 25 lbs.
Work overtime, weekends, night hours, in various temperatures, and in outdoor or enclosed spaces as required.
Salary Range $21 per hour to $22 per hour.
