The Night Auditor will ensure accurate allocation of all revenue to the appropriate departments, reconcile revenue across departments daily, and complete all required reports in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Conduct all audit procedures in accordance with hotel and company standards on a daily basis.
Verify and confirm the status of all wake‑up call requests, ensuring proper handling and follow‑up.
Balance and reconcile all cash receipts and transactions completed during the audit shift, and ensure cash deposits are made promptly.
Prepare the front office for the upcoming shift, resetting systems and operations for the day’s business.
Serve as a Guest Service representative and act as Manager on Duty during overnight hours, ensuring a seamless guest experience.
Function as PBX operator during the audit shift, managing communication duties effectively.
Participate in all front office meetings with an active and collaborative approach.
Engage in all training and cross‑training opportunities, continually enhancing skill sets.
Proactively greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, ensuring a positive guest experience.
Other duties as assigned by the leader.
Education and Experience
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Previous Guest Service or Front Desk hospitality experience preferred.
Pay Rate: $21/hour
Requirements Successful completion of a background check is required prior to employment.
This position is at a location where Hyatt is not the employer. The employer of individuals working at this hotel may be a third‑party management company that is responsible for all employment benefits and obligations at this location.
