$45.00/hr - $45.00/hr Travel: Up to 20% (including some overnight stays) Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries for general ledger accounts. Perform statistical analyses to identify trends and provide narrative reports. Prepare balance sheets, P&L statements, and other reports to interpret current and projected financial positions. Ensure proper handling and approval of financial transactions within designated limits. Monitor compliance with GAAP and internal controls, including SOX procedures. Investigate and correct errors in financial entries and reports. Assist with annual budgeting and recommend improvements to accounting operations. Prepare federal, state, and local reports and tax returns. Oversee regional fleet vehicle billing and ensure accuracy. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required). Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting/Finance. CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA (required). Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs) a plus. Experience with JD Edwards or other ERP systems preferred.
