$90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Role Overview

Victoria Beckham Beauty is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Senior Accountant to play a critical, hands-on role in supporting the global financial operations of the business. This role will be hybrid (in office Tuesday - Thursday) and will report into the Financial Controller. This individual will be a key contributor responsible for ensuring the accuracy, strict compliance with regulatory standards, and timely execution of all core accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and the month-end/year-end close process. This person will partner closely with Operations, Logistics, FP&A, and external audit and tax resources to maintain the financial integrity and efficiency of our systems, leveraging proficiency with ERP systems. Key Responsibilities

General Accounting & Compliance

Expertly ensure the accurate & timely function of Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable, acting as a point of escalation for complex issues. Manage Cash and Bank functions and reconciliation, ensuring robust internal controls. Lead the preparation and review of complex balance sheet reconciliations, resolving outstanding items promptly. Maintain strict adherence to General Accounting Principles (GAAP/IFRS) and ensure all processes meet regulatory standards and compliance requirements across international operations. Support various financial/admin tasks, new projects, and system enhancements, with a focus on process efficiency and compliance. Month-End Closing & Reporting

Own the execution of period-end closing activities, including complex accruals, amortization schedules, CAPEX tracking, T&E analysis, F/X revaluation, Corp Card reconciliation, and application of IFRS 15 and IFRS 16. Perform comprehensive Sales (B2B/DTC) & Inventory reconciliation, including analysis of Logistics invoices. Manage monthly bank reconciliation and resolve discrepancies. Oversee and reconcile complex intercompany transactions. Collaborate closely with FP&A on the budget/forecast process and detailed Cash Flow projections. Taxes, Audits & System Integrity

Manage the preparation and filing of complex sales & use tax returns for the US and VAT for various international jurisdictions. Lead the assistance with preparation of income taxes/financial reviews & audits with outside resources, serving as a primary point of contact for documentation. Support various audits (local/federal administration) and ensure all required documentation is complete and compliant. Oversee documentation for insurance, business licenses, trademarks, etc. Act as a key system user and/or administrator for the company’s ERP system (SAP/NAV/QuickBooks/etc.), ensuring data integrity, optimizing workflows, and supporting module implementations/upgrades. Support various other department functions to ensure efficiency & innovation in business. Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business related. At least 5+ years of progressive overall accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-growth, or multi-national environment, with at least 2+ years in a continuous role within the same organization. Demonstrated expert knowledge of General Accounting Principles (GAAP/IFRS), regulatory standards, and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX-like controls, international regulations). Strong technology acumen with hands-on, proven experience utilizing and optimizing ERP systems (SAP, Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central, QuickBooks Enterprise, or similar) for core accounting functions. A successful track record in setting priorities, exceptional attention to detail, a high level of organization, and strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate, and work effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
