Overview We are seeking a Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst with a manufacturing company background for eLoghomes, a national marketer and producer of log home kits. The position is based at our corporate office in Battleboro, NC. This fast‑growing company offers a differentiated approach to sales, marketing, and installation service versus the industry. Primary responsibilities include assisting with month‑end close, creating reporting for Key Performance Indicators across the business, and serving as a business partner to each team leader in functional area analysis. The role also entails cross‑functional collaboration with the VP of Operations to identify and monitor cost allocations, costing of materials, inventory analysis, and support production scheduling and analysis as needed.

Reporting Structure The position reports to the VP of Finance / Controller. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, at least three years of corporate or public accounting experience, and a strong desire to grow their skill set and advance their career. This onsite role will lead accounting and/or FP&A duties in a fast‑paced environment, utilizing key skills such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Balance Sheet Reconciliations, General Ledger Journal Entries, Month‑End Close, financial analysis, and forward‑looking financial projections. Training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Reconciling G/L accounts, preparing supporting schedules, posting adjusting journal entries, variance analysis, and preparing monthly financial and KPI reporting/dashboard packages.

Working with the leadership team on ad‑hoc analysis to analyze trends in the business and provide insights for financial forecasts and modeling.

Inventory analysis, coordinating the physical inventory/cycle count processes, ensuring accuracy.

Analyzing and streamlining various processes across the business with an emphasis on continuous productivity improvement.

Participating in the setup and implementation of the new ERP system.

Other Tasks

Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

Updating and tracking status of each job order (billings vs payments).

Monthly sales tax filings and property tax filings.

Streamlining the process for calculating payments for the sales commission program on an ongoing basis.

Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

4‑year degree with a concentration in accounting or a related field.

Advanced Excel skills, including creating formula‑driven financial analysis spreadsheets (required).

Knowledge of US GAAP and accrual‑based accounting.

Team player & strong work ethic.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Experience using ERP systems.

Experience handling external and internal audit (a plus).

Familiarity with the COSO Framework and internal controls (a plus; training will be provided).

Familiarity with ASC 606 (a plus; training will be provided).

Experience as a cost accountant in a manufacturing company (a plus; training will be provided).

Root‑cause analysis, FP&A, lean manufacturing, and/or 5S experience (a plus; training will be provided).

Position may require lifting up to 25 lb.
