As a Med Tech, you will enrich lives every day by relying on your experience and knowledge of medication administration procedures to ensure that residents in our assisted living and memory care neighborhoods receive the highest level of dignity and care. You will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members! Responsibilities
Provide medication administration support in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Touchmark policies to residents in assisted living and memory care neighborhoods. Demonstrate a commitment to Touchmark’s values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion) and model these values for others. Maintain professionalism and a calm, compassionate demeanor when interacting with residents, family members, staff, and visitors. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of Med Tech experience. Willingness to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification. Genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment. Familiarity with Best Friend’s Approach to dementia care, or commitment to providing emotional support using person-centered approaches. Willingness to continue learning, improve skills, and maintain confidentiality. Ability to remain patient and tactful in interactions with residents, family members, staff, and visitors. Benefits
