Responsibilities
Participating in project scoping and technical requirements definition.
Conducting site walkthroughs and attending design meetings.
Assisting procurement staff with drafting technical specifications and evaluating proposals.
Serving as subject matter expert for AV and cabling installations.
Coordinating with vendors and construction managers during implementation.
Supporting project closeout, testing, and documentation.
Required Skills / Experience
Advanced knowledge of AV system design and integration.
Intermediate experience with structured cabling (voice/data).
Intermediate experience with construction project coordination.
Intermediate experience with RFP technical writing and proposal evaluation.
Intermediate ability to conduct site walkthroughs and produce technical documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office/365 Suite.
Preferred / Not Required Skills
CTS, CTS-D, or equivalent certifications.
Basic familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or Revit.
Skill Set Summary
AV system design and integration – Advanced – Required – Commercial/government experience preferred
Structured cabling (voice/data) – Intermediate – Required – Knowledge of low‑voltage cabling standards
Construction project coordination – Intermediate – Required – Coordination with general contractors and trades
RFP writing and proposal evaluation – Intermediate – Required – Assists procurement team
Site walkthroughs and documentation – Intermediate – Required – Supports technical assessments during procurement
