Key Responsibilities
Execute the technical design process comprehensively, from initial development to final fit approval.
Analyze and evaluate garments to establish and refine accurate fit specifications.
Ensure product development aligns with established fit quality, standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost specifications.
Develop and communicate detailed technical specifications and fit comments to vendors and factories for approvals and corrections.
Collaborate with manufacturing partners to implement necessary adjustments, safeguarding the integrity of approved designs while monitoring quality and target pricing.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technical design team members.
What You Bring (Must‑Have Qualifications)
Experience : 7+ years of experience in technical design, specifically within the apparel sector, with a strong focus on intimate apparel.
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, or equivalent practical experience.
Technical Expertise : Proven ability to independently own and conduct fittings; skilled in writing detailed fit comments and pattern correction instructions; proficiency with industry‑standard product lifecycle management (PLM) systems; advanced proficiency in Excel and Illustrator.
Soft Skills : Exceptional flexibility and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment; strong problem‑solving abilities, capable of navigating complex technical challenges; a supportive and collaborative team player; demonstrated ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in stressful situations.
