Overview Palms at Magnolia Park Apartments in Riverview, FL is looking for an ambitious leasing consultant to work on an hourly wage plus bonus.
Core Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the leasing process with prospective tenants.
Provide high‑level customer service to future tenants and current residents.
Guide clients on tours, the application process, and close sales.
Close sales on units to ensure maximized occupancy and offer additional products or services to satisfy customers.
Maintain accurate records of prospective and current client history.
Answer phone, email, and in‑person communication in a timely and professional manner.
Handle resident concerns and requests with a positive customer‑service attitude.
Assist Property Manager and support groups with ongoing maintenance coordination.
Maintain community appearance and ensure repairs are noted and completed through regular inspections.
Assist Property Manager with training all on‑site staff to achieve operational goals.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong sales and/or leasing experience.
High level of interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to maintain high energy, friendly demeanor, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
Ability to perform entry‑ to intermediate‑level math functions without additional assistance.
National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) desired.
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office; type at least 30 words per minute. Yardi experience a plus.
Achieve Fair Housing certification prior to interacting with prospects or residents.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends if requested.
Conduct business in accordance with company policies, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all relevant federal, state, and local laws.
Hourly Pay Range $18–$19 per hour.
