is seeking a
Personal Lines Account Manager
to join our growing team in
Troy, MI! The Personal Lines Account Manager services an assigned book of business by working with those clients to identify exposures, provide the best insurance solutions available, and serve as their insurance advisor. Analyze and answer requests by telephone, email or in person from policyholders and/or carriers for information concerning insurance policies by performing the following duties. How You Will Contribute: Write all new business policies. Maintain and service all renewal policies. Prepare renewal reviews and quotes as needed. Assist insureds with all service needs (i.e. questions, changes, cancellations, etc.). Identify competitive carriers for remarketing existing business to help with account retention. Account round existing clients, and cross sell other departments within the organization. Ensure all quotes are accurate and complete prior to being proposed. Develop and maintain client relationships to identify changing needs in account coverage. Actively seek out new business referrals: current clients, friends, family, teammates etc. Responsible for documentation control (scanned, paper, electronic, verbal, etc.). Knowledge of Quality Control Compliance standards for department. Maintain a commitment to personal and professional growth and development. Licenses and Certifications
Property & Casualty License or ability to obtain with 6 months Insurance Designation (ie RHU, CISR, CIC, ARM) (Preferred) Skills & Experience to Be Successful
High School diploma or GED Proficient with MS Office Suite Exceptional telephone demeanor and strong written and oral communication skills Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Associate or bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline (Preferred) Knowledge of agency management systems (Preferred) 1-2 years\' experience in similar position (Preferred) Teammate Benefits & Total Well-Being Medical/Rx, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance ESPP; 401k; Student Loan Assistance; Tuition Reimbursement Free Mental Health & Enhanced Advocacy Services Paid Time Off, Holidays, Preferred Partner Discounts and more.
