Responsibilities
Lead the Radiology Department, ensuring effective ongoing quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Assist in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures.
Spend 95% of time in direct patient care.
Foster teamwork, team-member engagement, and community involvement.
Commit to leveraging diversity and inclusion in support of quality care.
Ensure a safe patient environment driven by the principles of "First Do No Harm".
Qualifications
Education: 2‑Year/Associate Degree preferred; Graduate of ARRT‑approved Radiography Program required.
Experience: Minimum of two years diagnostic radiology experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography – RT(R) required.
Applicable state licensure as required.
Required Skills:
Thorough knowledge of policies and procedures, equipment used in performing assigned duties, and information systems.
Abilities in team building, decision making, and conflict management.
Ability to perform and assist others with procedures and direct workflow.
Exhibits leadership by providing compassionate, remarkable care, coupled with a positive attitude, patience, and the ability to work with others.
Ability to successfully complete generic and department‑specific skills validation and competency testing.
