Job Description As a Security Guard - Flex Telecom Patrols in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. This Flex Part‑Time Security Officer role allows you to build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to deter incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication.

Job Schedule: Saturday 10:00 AM – 09:00 PM

What You'll Do
Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, including responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security‑related risks, or incidents to the appropriate personnel and/or authorities.
Assist visitors and employees by providing directions, answering questions, and addressing security‑related concerns in a courteous manner.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to maintain a visible presence and help deter potential disruptions in the tech, media, or telecom environment.
Follow all site‑specific procedures and protocols as outlined by Allied Universal and the client location.
Minimum Requirements
At least 1 year of security‑related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
