Join us now as a technical lead in our Robotics business. This position reports to an Engineering Manager and oversees all engineering activities for medium complexity projects, ensuring execution across all disciplines, in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies.
This role is a full‑time onsite position contributing to the Service Robotics team in Auburn Hills, MI.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.
Coaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.
Leading, supervising, and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects.
Applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably in Robotics or Mechatronics.
5+ years of experience in robotics and project execution.
Highly skilled in robotics, programming, and design software, with a strong desire to contribute to the health and life sciences market.
Advanced knowledge of robot programming, automation safety standards, and a solid understanding of the mechanical and electrical aspects of robotic application cells.
