Job Description The IT Domain Architect II is a position that provides leadership and expertise in the development and implementation of technology solutions and architecture for a specific domain or business function (i.e., sales, marketing, or HR) and/or technical (i.e., security, systems, or network). This position will provide strategic direction for multiple domain technology architecture initiatives, develop, and maintain technology standards and policies, collaborate with vendors, and provide leadership to other IT resources. Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, experience with cloud computing platforms, experience with large-scale systems integration and deployments, and the ability to provide technical guidance and project methodology skills. Responsible for maintaining strong partnerships with LOB and within IT. Additionally, the domain(s) must support the role (significant roadmap work, critical skillset, strategic area).

How You’ll Spend Your Time

You will lead the design and implementation of complex technology solutions across multiple domains.

You will provide strategic architectural direction and technical leadership for enterprise initiatives.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technology with business goals and standards.

You will build and maintain relationships with executive leadership and external vendors.

You will evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

You will mentor IT staff, supervise resources, and manage vendor support for issue resolution.

Education & Experience Requirements

This level of knowledge is normally acquired through the completion of a master’s degree in a technology field and/or 7+ years of related experience.

Certifications that demonstrate a level of proficiency and knowledge in specific technologies or methodologies relevant to an IT Architect III.
