Sr. I Analyst - Enterprise Data & Analytics

Position Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr. I Analyst – Enterprise Data & Analytics. The Senior Analyst position resides within the MCIT Enterprise Data Analysis Department and will be responsible for supporting efforts to further NYULH Information Technology toward meeting our strategic vision of a truly digital, world‑class, fully integrated academic medical center. This position will translate data requests into analytical solutions that contribute to sound strategic planning, decision‑making, goal setting, and effective performance by NYULH leadership. Serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, the Senior Analyst contributes to the successful execution of analytics and dashboard projects. Key Job Responsibilities
Gather & document business requirements for enterprise analytics projects, create detailed business and technical requirements, and facilitate stakeholder meetings. Provide training and support to end‑users, analyze current business processes for improvement, and propose efficient solutions. Enhance the department's capability to deliver impactful data‑driven solutions and optimize business processes. Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring seamless communication and project execution. Job Responsibilities
Gather and document business requirements, technical specifications, and design specifications working with business owners and MCIT staff. Provide project management support under guidance of the Department manager to coordinate efforts with various MCIT staff and business owners on dashboard projects to ensure consensus on requirements, timelines and help manage issues. Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment throughout the lifecycle of analytics projects. Assist with processing and triaging requests for dashboards, reports, analytics and data access submitted by the NYULH enterprise community. Work directly with requestors to ensure timely completion of requests while adhering to submission processes. Perform user testing, validate data on dashboards, and obtain final approval from business owners. Provide support to department managers and directors as part of project teams and committees involved in enterprise reporting initiatives. Perform ad hoc analyses for NYULH leadership as requested by Department Managers. Participate in the governance of metrics by preparing definitions with business owners for presentation to the Enterprise Analytics, Reporting & Reference Data Subcommittee (EARRS) and publishing metrics and business terms in the NYULH Business Glossary that will ensure consistent reporting. Investigate data and functionality issues as needed. Additional support responsibilities and duties as required. Minimum Qualifications
BA/BS degree in Computer Science. 4 or more years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications
