Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support daily HR operations with a strong focus on recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee support. This role serves as the first point of contact for employee questions and concerns and works closely with the HR Director to ensure smooth, compliant, and people‑centered HR processes.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, discreet, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment—ideally within a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding

Coordinate job postings with supervisors and manage postings through JazzHR (ATS)

Screen applicants in person and by phone as needed

Prepare and process new hire onboarding packets and documentation

Coordinate orientation, required training, and compliance tracking

Educate employees on uploading certifications and documents into the HRIS

Compliance & Employee Records

Conduct pre‑employment screenings, including TCN, DMV, DOT, drug testing, Social Security verification, professional license checks, AHCA/FDLE Level II background screenings, and related systems

Maintain employee personnel files, licenses, certifications, and training records

Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations

Monitor and update required employment posters and notices

HR Operations & Employee Support

Serve as the first‑line HR contact for employee inquiries and concerns

Maintain strict confidentiality in all HR matters

Input personnel changes and employment verifications

Assist with workers’ compensation, exit interviews, and employee incidents as needed

Communicate urgent employee matters to the HR Director

Provide invoices and receipts for training and services to Accounting

Support the HR Director with projects and general HR operations

Qualifications Minimum:

AA/AS degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field OR High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of HR experience

Preferred:

BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field OR High School Diploma/GED with 7 years of HR experience in a healthcare setting

Knowledge & Skills

Strong organizational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritize

High attention to detail and accuracy

Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and follow ethical standards

Self‑starter who is self‑managing and motivated

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient in drafting clear communications (emails, verification letters, etc.)

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Pay and Hours This is a full‑time Monday‑Friday position and includes a full benefits package.
