Job Description Reporting to the Credit Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Responsibilities
Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
Maintain local credit policies and procedures regarding billing, collection, credit cards, inquiries, check cashing, etc.
Inspect all in-house accounts to ensure adherence to the hotels' credit policy; assist with the collection efforts of these accounts where necessary
Prepare invoices for groups, catering and wedding events using Cloud Property Management functions and Excel
Prepare commission and rebate invoices based on group contracts
Daily support of accounts payable and accounts receivable
Liaise and work closely with Sales, Reservations, Conference Services, Banquets, Royal Service and Front Office Teams
Assist with the reconciliation and payment of third party checks
Ensure vendor files are set-up when required
Assist in the month-end reporting
Provide office administration duties as required
Follow departmental policies and procedures
Follow all safety policies
Other duties as assigned

Previous office administration or accounting experience preferred
Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications or relevant computer applications required
University/College degree in a related discipline an asset
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
