Job Description You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.
Responsibilities
Operate and maintain equipment to deliver on safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets.
Execute all standard work processes on equipment using AM and PM standards.
Ensure safety processes are observed and quality assurance activities performed.
Understand losses in equipment area, report them.
Assist in root cause analyses for customer and consumer inquiries and out-of-spec products.
Assist in training programs for operators.
Perform and assist in internal shift audit activities of bakery processes.
Perform sensory analysis on incoming ingredients and finished products.
Support daily production needs focusing on maintaining high‑quality, safe products.
Provide reports on food safety and quality data.
Write and assist in the development of standard operating procedures and work instructions.
Use continuous improvement tools to improve food safety and quality metrics.
Ensure sanitation verification meets food safety criteria for bakery.
Ensure allergen control programs are accurate.
Perform other related duties as requested.

Experience with former manufacturing plant or line start‑ups is a strong plus
Experience performing food safety and quality activities in an organic food manufacturing environment is preferred
Education / Certifications
A bachelor’s degree in science or a related field is preferred.
Job‑Specific Requirements
Minimum 2+ years of food safety & quality experience in a production facility, preferably in a food processing plant.
Experience in an organic manufacturing or food production environment a plus.
Work Schedule Night Shift, 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM
Salary and Benefits The hourly wage is $25.90/hr. An annual incentive program with a target of 5% of your salary is offered. Benefits include health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time, and more. Many benefits are subsidized or fully paid by the company.
