Munson Boats seeks a Mechanic Systems Technician to join our team in manufacturing welded aluminum boats for worldwide clients, including fire/rescue boats, research vessels, high‑speed patrol boats, USCG certified passenger boats, and more. Our boats are assembled in a state‑of‑the‑art production facility with radiant floor heat for a comfortable work environment throughout the year.
We offer a stable and well‑organized workplace where your mechanical systems expertise will be put to work. This full‑time opportunity includes a four‑day workweek (Monday – Thursday, 10‑hour shifts), allowing for a great work‑life balance with a three‑day weekend every week.
Key Responsibilities
Install and integrate mechanical, electrical, navigation, communication, propulsion, and plumbing systems using all brand new components.
Work with diesel and gasoline engines, pumps, hydraulics, generators, HVAC, and fuel systems.
Assemble and install steering, control systems, and marine hardware.
Read installation instructions and interpret schematics and system diagrams.
Ensure systems meet safety, performance, and quality standards.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What We’re Looking For
Experience in mechanical, electrical, or systems installation.
Knowledge of engines, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
Ability to read and work from blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality craftsmanship.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments.
