About the Role Pro 2 Pave is looking for a highly organized and mechanically inclined
Materials & Equipment Manager . You will be the backbone of our operations, ensuring that our crews have the right materials, functional tools, and well-maintained equipment they need to deliver high-quality paving results every day.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Control:
Track and manage stock levels for all materials (sealant, asphalt mix, hand tools, etc.) to ensure no downtime on job sites.
Equipment Maintenance:
Create and execute a preventative maintenance schedule for our fleet and heavy machinery (skid steers, pavers, rollers).
Small Tool Management:
Organize, track, and perform basic repairs on small engine equipment and hand tools.
Vendor Coordination:
Negotiate with suppliers for materials and manage third-party service providers for major equipment repairs.
Logistics:
Coordinate the movement of equipment and materials between the yard and various job sites.
Qualifications
Experience:
3+ years in construction equipment management, shop management, or a similar industrial logistics role.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of diesel and small engine mechanics.
Organizational Skills:
Proficiency in using inventory tracking software or spreadsheets.
Reliability:
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, seasonal industry.
License:
A valid driver’s license is required; a Class A CDL is highly preferred for moving heavy equipment.
