Project Manager – Substation

Core Responsibilities
Coordinate, execute, and deliver projects on time, on budget, and within scope in accordance with business requirements.
Drive project management methodology, including requirements analysis, charter development, project planning, and resource planning.
Manage billing and collections to ensure positive cash flow and achieve minimum budgeted net profit targets.
Facilitate continuous process improvement to increase field productivity and forecast weekly goals.
Develop and maintain high‑quality relationships with customers, promptly resolve complaints, and prospect for new business.
Pre‑plan and eliminate daily hazards by identifying methods to eliminate hazards during work tasks.
Promote zero‑accident safety culture, support ongoing safety training, and encourage open communication on safety concerns.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Building Science, etc.) or related field, or significant relevant work experience.
5+ years of experience, preferably in electrical construction.
Knowledge of estimating, scheduling, and budgeting processes.
Experience, Skills & Abilities
Positive safety attitude and personal integrity—non‑negotiable.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to apply innovative leadership to maximize employee performance.
Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all levels of the company and customers.
Physical Requirements
Office environment requiring sitting and standing; occasional travel to work sites with exposure to outdoor elements, noise, and walking requirements.
