Position Summary Title: PA Program Instructor Rank: Temporary Part‑time Faculty

The Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of New Mexico (UNM) School of Medicine seeks a qualified individual to teach Human Sexuality and Reproduction course content for course PAST 552, Human Sexuality, Reproduction and Endocrine, a 3‑hour course. The instructor will work with PA faculty to coordinate and deliver all content related to this course. This includes curricular planning, lecturing, course management, and the creation of exams related to the content delivered.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

Master’s Degree

5 years of teaching experience

Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience teaching MD or PA students in preclinical didactic course(s)

Experience teaching/precepting MD or PA students in the clinical setting

A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities.
