Employer: Amazon Data Services, Inc. Position: Tech Business Developer III Location: Austin, TX Multiple Positions Available

Engage in mid-level customer meetings to discuss customer’s business issues and explore how new Cloud services can help address and resolve these issues.

Establish ways to measure and track metrics related to adoption of the service, and to make improvements to the approach based on those measurements.

Prepare and give business reviews to the management team regarding progress and metrics.

Educate and enable the teams and increase visibility of support across all AWS markets.

Manage complex contract negotiations and liaison with the legal group.

Handle a high volume of engagements and the fast pace of the cloud computing market.

(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $147900 - $200100)

Responsibilities

Engage in mid-level customer meetings to discuss business issues and how cloud services address them.

Measure and track adoption metrics and improve approaches based on those metrics.

Prepare business reviews for management regarding progress and metrics.

Educate and enable teams and increase visibility of support across markets.

Manage complex contract negotiations with liaison to the legal group.

Operate in a high-volume, fast-paced cloud market environment.

Qualifications

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to a master’s degree and one year of experience.

One year of experience in: sales/business development, managing pipelines, achieving programming results; and application of cloud technologies.
