Job Description We are at the forefront of delivering innovative solutions to the federal government and are looking for a seasoned Subcontracts and Agreements Administrator. In this role you will focus on the administration and management of our subcontracts portfolio, including federal subcontracts, commercial partner and vendor agreements, and independent contractor agreements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead subcontract management: Oversee the full subcontract lifecycle, from proposal through closeout, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and company policies.
Collaborate across teams: Work closely with program managers, finance, legal, and business development to address contractual requirements and provide strategic advice.
Negotiate and execute: Handle NDAs, teaming agreements, service agreements, and purchase orders.
Ensure compliance: Maintain contract files and records in Deltek Costpoint, and manage day‑to‑day contract actions, preparing official correspondence and deliverables.
Milestones Within the First Year In your first 6 months:
Master the portfolio: Gain a comprehensive understanding of Ridgeline’s subcontracts and agreement portfolio, and all associated compliance and operational processes.
Take ownership: Transition to full administrative ownership of Ridgeline’s subcontract and independent contractor processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Build strategic partnerships: Establish trusted relationships with key internal stakeholders, specifically Program Managers and Project Managers.
By the end of your first year:
Scale your impact: Demonstrate readiness to expand your scope of responsibility by taking on additional portfolio management duties and complex agreement structures as business needs evolve.
Drive process optimization: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline subcontract administration.
Qualifications
Active Secret clearance preferred.
3–5 years of relevant experience in federal contracting, with strong knowledge of the FAR and subcontract administration.
Bachelor’s degree (additional experience may be considered in lieu).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with Deltek Costpoint.
Hybrid position: 3–4 days in our Tysons Corner, VA office required; ability to attend in‑person meetings in the National Capital Region.
Nice‑to‑Haves
Experience with CostPoint project set‑up.
Professional certifications such as CPCM or CFCM.
